COCO FIBER FACTORY
Largest coco fiber factory in the Philippines is available for investments.
Basic information are as follows:
1. Location main processing plant is in Victoria, Laguna and the
value-added processing plant for cocopeat is in Calamba, Laguna
2. Raw material is primarily cocohusks from the surrounding areas of
Victoria, which would be Laguna and Quezon provinces
3. Products coco fiber for export from Victoria factory and
coco peat for export from Calamba factory
4. Exports coco fiber demand is huge and Philippine production
is insufficient while coco peat has an export contract of at least
50 containers per year for three years (renewable)
5. Facilities Victoria factory
5,000 square meter factory, with underground sistern to store water
for fire-fighting situation
2 double drum 3.5 tons/shift decorticating machine with
corresponding rotary screens
1 three-level rail-driven 4 tons/day dyer using heated air from
coco-shell furnace
1 fifty-foot rotary screen drier at 4-ft diamerter, readily convertible
to cocoshell-fired furnace drier
3 hydraulic strapping machine, with minimum power of 3,000 psi
2 rotary screens for processing cocopeat for input to value-added
factory in Calamba
2,000 square meter sun dry area, readily convertible to warehouse
2 eight ton six wheeler Forward trucks, 1 five ton six wheeler truck,
1 Ford ranger pick up, 3 contractual truckers for cocohusks
3 small houses, being used as staff house for a dozen persons
Complete set of tools to support the operations
Calamba factory
1,000 square meter factory, fully covered
1 twenty-foot horizontal hydraulic press minimum power of 5,000psi
1 two and a half ton TCM forklift
1 three ton track pallet
Complete set of tools to support operations
Facilities in Victoria can produce at least 8 tons of coco fiber per day and
facilities in Calamba can produce 18 tons of processed cocopeat per day.
